Pathway to Medicine is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing free, evidence-based guidance for students and families navigating the road to a career in healthcare. We believe that access to reliable information should not depend on a family’s ability to pay for private consulting.
Every page on this site is researched, sourced, and written with one goal: giving students the honest answers they need to make informed decisions about their future in medicine.
Our mission
We provide free, verified, and comprehensive resources for students from middle school through medical school applications. We cover 39 healthcare career profiles, 200 medical schools, 23 state-specific resource guides, study tools, practice exams, application timelines, and financial planning guides.
What makes us different
We do not sell admissions consulting packages. We do not accept sponsored recommendations. We do not use affiliate links. Every resource on this site is free, and it will stay that way. When we cite a statistic, we name the source. When we recommend a resource, we prioritize free options first (Khan Academy before paid courses, OpenStax before expensive textbooks). We are funded by tax-deductible donations, not by selling access to students.
